BBX OS have Problem?
After launching Blacberry OS 7 some time ago, RIM will make another breakthrough with the introduction of new operating system called the BBX. But not yet launched, RIM has reportedly already planning to change the name of BBX for RIM’s next smartphone.
The reason RIM renames BBX namely because the name has been registered as trademarks owned by Software Base International Ltd. Federal courts in the United States has provided a temporary restraining order against the rim, until the makers of Blackberry phones is to use the trademark dissuade BBX.
Brand software based in Albuquerque BBX claims that the name has been protected by the trademark holder. And most likely will bring this issue to court if RIM keep using the name of BBX. The occurrence of these problems then the schedule in launching the latest generation of RIM’s operating system. And RIM will likely replace with the name Blackberry 10.
“RIM is not accustomed to comment on pending litigation, but RIM is ready to introduce a new name for the next generation mobile platform. As announced at the DevCon Asia, RIM plans to use the name ‘Blackberry 10′ for future generations of mobile platforms, “the source said RIM via Reuters.
